Pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao has gone through with his announced intention to file a lawsuit against Floyd Mayweather Jr, his father Floyd Mayweather Sr, uncle Roger Mayweather, Golden Boy Promotions executives Oscar De La Hoya and CEO Richard Schaefer for making false and defamatory statements accusing Pacquiao of taking performance enhancing drugs.

Things have gotten way out of hand. There is one fight that the loyal fans of both boxers really want to see. There is a grand opportunity for a mega-fight that would undoubtedly be the best thing to happen to the sport in years. There is $35 to $40 million dollars on the table for each fighter. Mayweathers new years resolution should be to stay quiet

What exactly is Manny Pacquiao planning to get out of filing a law suit, against Golden Boy Promotions, Floyd Mayweather Jr, and Sr? It wont accomplish much. It will certainly make Pacquaio's pockets deeper. It will not stop the continuous speculations, floating around the boxing world. The damage is already done.

According to Pacquaio his character has been damaged, and tarnished by untrue accusations. "Enough is Enough" says Pacquiao. This is not the first time, Pacquaio has heard accusations from the Mayweather's. He has been able to brush off these rumors until now.

In what is now a halted negotiation for the Pacquiao-Mayweather super fight, it is clear where the snag in the agreement process stems from.
